Website Health Check
How Healthy is Your Website?
Every website needs TLC (tender loving care) and if it doesn’t get the right kind of care then things can start to go wrong, go slow, or parts stop working all together.
This is where my Website Health Check can give the jump-start your website needs. The Website Health Check will give you an overview of the different aspects of your website and identify areas that might not be working so great.
So, what does it cover?
1. Design
How does it look?
How your website displays across different devices is fundamental to how your visitors view your website. Let’s see how your website displays.
2. User Experience
How easy is it to use?
Can users navigate easily and understand exactly what it is you do and how you can help them? Can they easily get in touch with you or find helpful resources?
3. Visibility
Can anyone find you?
Your website needs to be found online. Just because you have a website does not automatically mean you will be found, even by a ‘super sleuth’.
4. Conversion
What can visitors do?
You want visitors to take a certain action when they visit your website. Is your messaging clear on what actions you want your visitors to take?
5. Speed
How fast is your site?
First impressions count. A slow-loading website will put visitors off and impact your ranking factor with search engines.
6. Security
Is your site secure?
Security is fundamental for your website. Keeping it up to date and backed up is a crucial element to keep it protected and secure.
How a Website Audit Works
Step 1
Complete a Brief
To start the ball rolling you will need to complete a website brief. This will only take a few minutes of your time but will give me the essential information I require to assess your needs.
Step 2
Can I help?
Once I receive your brief, I will evaluate if we are a good fit to work together and whether I am able to help you with your website audit. If I can help you, then I will arrange a 30-minute assessment call with you over Zoom or by phone.
Step 3
Green Light for Go
When both parties are ready to proceed, then payment is arranged securely. I will need access to your website to begin the audit.
Step 4
Report and Results
You will receive a copy of the report together with a video ‘talk-through’ to explain the content. Once you have consumed the report, we can agree your priorities and the next steps we will take together.
Step 5
Audit Action
Based on the findings of the audit report, the most immediate needs for the website will be prioritised and a plan of action put in place. The audit includes 2 hours of work to implement priority needs. The audit will also include a future action plan for you to take away.
Step 6
Future Plans
The findings of the report oulined in your action plan can be taken away so you can make improvements yourself should you wish. Alternatively, The Umbrella Care Plans are the perfect way to deliver ongoing improvements to your website on a monthly basis on a monthly budget. Options on how we can work with you in this way can be discussed.
How Much is a Website Audit?
The investment for your website audit is £449.
This includes a full report and recommendations for improvements to be made to your website, which you can take away with you and implement, to have the maximum impact on your website as it stands today.
The report does not include the changes being undertaken by me, that would be a separate conversation, or you can take them to a web designer of your choice.
How to Request a Website Audit
Simply complete the online brief to provide some background about your website and the current problems you need help with.
Once I receive your information (which I promise will take no more than a few minutes of your time) this gives me the opportunity to learn more about you, your business and how best I can help you.
